Create a Teaching Mode class in Classwize

If you can't access this feature, contact your school's IT Support for permission.

You can create a Local Teaching class in Classwize to manage students and other teachers, or schedule the class. Teaching classes lets you use all Classwize features you have access to.

To add a Teaching Class:

  1. On the My Classes dashboard, select + Add Class. The Create a new class dialogue appears. 
  2. In the Class name field, enter a descriptive name.

  3. Teaching Mode is the default mode. Select Teaching Mode if it’s not already selected

      Note

    If class mode options aren’t showing, your school only allows you to add Teaching Mode classes.

  4. (Optional) Select Pin this class to keep it at the top of your My Classes dashboard.
  5. Select Save. The class tile appears on your dashboard.
