You can add students within a class or from the My Classes Dashboard to reflect who is present on the day.
Before you begin
- You must have access to Modify Students in Classwize.
Add students within a Classroom
Important
- You can have a maximum of 100 students per class or 50 in a Monitor Only Mode classroom.
- Changes made to class membership (such as adding or removing students or teachers) in Local or Monitor Only Mode classes are saved. However, changes to synced classes will be undone the next time the class syncs. Contact your school's IT Support to make permanent membership changes to a synced class.
- In the Classroom, select Class Tools > Modify Students. The Modify Students dialog will appear.
- In the Students field, enter at least three letters of the student’s name.

- Select the student’s name from the matching results.
- (Optional) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more students.
- Select Save.
Add students from the My Classes Dashboard
- On the My Classes Dashboard, select the Modify Students icon on the relevant Class tile. The Modify Students dialog will appear.

- In the Students field, enter at least three letters of the student’s name.
- Select the student’s name from the matching results.
- (Optional) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more students.
- Select Save.
