Courses management for teachers

Adding and Enrolling students to Courses

This article is for Teachers. 

By default, students should be synced into the correct class in Classwize however, teachers can manually add students to a class so they can be enrolled into a course.

Adding students to a class

  1. Sign in to the Classwize Portal using your credentials.
  2. Select the Settings icon of your Class.
  3. See Adding students to an Active Class.

Enrolling students into Courses

  1. Sign in to the Classwize Portal using your credentials.
  2. Select a Class.

  1. Select the Courses tab.

  1. You can use the Filters to find a course.
    • Selecting the Age filter displays courses appropriate for the selected age group.
    • Selecting the Topic filter displays courses relevant to the chosen topic.

  1. Once you've found a course, select Manage Enrollments.

  1. You will see all the Students in that class.
  2. Select the checkbox next to each student’s name.
  3. Select Enrol Selected Students. A pop-up will appear, informing you that they have been Successfully Enrolled.

  1. Copy the URL link from the left panel and share this link with your students so that they can begin the courses.

  1. Once students open the link, they must enter their username to access the courses.

Viewing student Courses engagement

This article is intended for Teachers. 

This article will show you how to view your student's progress through Courses.

Viewing student progress

  1. Sign in to the Classwize Portal using your credentials.
  2. Select a Class.

  1. Select the Courses tab.

  1. You can use the Filters to find a course.

  1. Select Manage Enrollments for one of the courses.

  1. You will see all the students within the class, those who have not been enrolled, and those who have been enrolled. The page will also show:
    • Course Status: If the student has started, progressed or completed the course.
    • Days Spent: Total duration of days spent on the course to date.
    • Score: When the student completes the course, the score will be displayed.
    • Completion Date: Date of when the course was completed.

  1. To view more information about a specific student, select the three dots and select View Student History.

    If a student has completed a course, you can download their Certificate from this view.

  2. You will see more information about all the courses they are enrolled in.
