Remove students from a class

You can remove students within a class or from the My Classes Dashboard to reflect who is present on the day. If you remove students from a Synced or Combined class, Classwize will re-add them at the next daily sync.

  Important

  • You can have a maximum of 100 students per class or 50 in a Monitor Only Mode classroom.
  • Changes made to Local or Monitor Only Mode Classrooms are saved, but changes to Synced or Combined classes reset with the daily sync.

Remove students within a Classroom

  1. In the Classroom, select Class Tools > Modify Students.
  2. Select the X icon next to the name of the student you want to remove.
  3. Select Save.

Remove students from the My Classes Dashboard

  1. On the My Classes Dashboard, select the Modify Students icon for the relevant Class tile. The Modify Students dialog will appear.
  2. Select the X icon next to the student's name you want to remove from the class.
  3. Select Save.
