You can remove students within a class or from the My Classes Dashboard to reflect who is present on the day. If you remove students from a Synced or Combined class, Classroom Manager will temporarily remove them, but they will be added again at the next daily sync if they are still listed in the sync source.
Important
- You can have 100 students per class or 50 in a Monitor Only Mode classroom.
- Changes made to Local or Monitor Only Mode Classrooms are saved. In Synced or Combined classes:
- Student additions persist.
- Student removals reset at the daily sync if the sync source still lists the student.
Before you begin
- You must have access to Modify Students in Classroom Manager.

If you can't access this feature, contact your school's IT Support for permission.
Remove students within a Classroom
- In the Classroom, select Class Tools > Modify Students.
- Select the X icon next to the student's name you want to remove.

Remove students from the My Classes Dashboard
- On the My Classes Dashboard, select the Modify Students icon for the relevant Class tile. The Modify Students window will appear.
- Select the X icon next to the student's name you want to remove from the class.
