This article is for Teachers.
Important
If you see the message “Screenshots and Live view disabled for this site”, the website is restricted from screen view.
You can take a time-stamped screenshot of a student’s screen from Live View and download it as a PDF. The screenshot will show what is currently on the student’s screen, not any background tabs or windows.
Tip
You can create a Screenshot History Report to download screenshots of a student’s browsing history during class.
Each screenshot file includes:
- Name or email address of the student.
- Name of the School Manager device.
- URL of the website the student was browsing (Chrome only).
- The screenshot of the student's screen (Windows or macOS) or browser (Chrome).
- Screenshot details:
- Date and time the screenshot was taken.
- Student's device type and identifier.
- Name of the class.
- Email address of the teacher who took the screenshot.
To take a screenshot of a student’s screen:
- In an active class, find the student and select their Student Tile.
- Select SCREENSHOT, then select Accept and download screenshot (this prompt appears only once per day).
