Focus is an optional feature that may not be turned on at your school. If you can’t see the Focus Library button on your Classwize Dashboard, contact your school’s IT support.
Focus helps keep students on task by allowing access only to approved resources during class, blocking all other browsing.
Using Focus
You can apply Focus manually during an active class or set it to start automatically with your class. Focus ends when the class ends, but remains saved until removed.
You can:
- Set a Focus in a class.
- Add a student to an active Focus.
- Create a Focus Plan to use with multiple classes.
- Edit the Focus or Focus Plan at any time.
- Stop or remove a Focus at any time.
- Delete a Focus Plan if you no longer need it.
- Use Screen Share with Focus.
Types of resources
You can add as many resources as you need to a Focus, such as:
- Website URLs: For example, www.khanacademy.org
- Signatures: For example, Khan Academy
