Stop teachers bypassing filtering using “Block Rules Only” mode

You can turn on Block Rules Only mode to stop teachers from creating Allow Rules to bypass your school’s filtering policies. Teachers will only see the Blocked option when creating a rule.

  Important

You can’t use the Bypass Code and Reward features with Block Rules Only mode, as they allow you to bypass Linewize Filter Policies.

To turn on Block Rules Only mode:

  1. In Linewize Filter, go to Configuration > Classwize.
  2. In the Advanced Configuration section, select the Create Blocking Rules Only checkbox.
  3. Select Save.
