You can use Linewize Filter to choose how users sign into Classwize. Depending on your school’s setup, you can:
- Turn off automatic sign in.
- Allow sign in through ClassLink.
Each option supports different school needs, explained below.
Option 1: Turn off automatic sign in
Important
Before turning off automatic sign in, contact Linewize Support to confirm this option meets your school’s requirements.
Teachers who use the Connect for Chrome extension will no longer automatically sign into Classwize when their device connects to a Linewize managed network. They will need to sign in manually.
To turn off automatic sign in:
- In Linewize Filter, go to Configuration > Classwize.
- Under the Sign in options section, select the Disable automatic sign in checkbox.
- Go to the bottom of the page and select Save.
Option 2: Allow ClassLink sign in
Teachers can sign in to Classwize using the credentials they use for ClassLink.
To allow ClassLink sign in:
- In Linewize Filter, go to Configuration > Classwize.
- Under the Sign in options section, select the Allow ClassLink sign in checkbox.
- Go to the bottom of the page and select Save.
