Manage students in a class

The Modify Students feature lets you add or remove students from your classes to reflect who is present on the day. The process differs slightly from within a class or from the My Classes Dashboard.

Manage students within a Classroom

Add students within a Classroom

1. In the Classroom, select Class Tools > Modify Students. The Modify Students dialog will appear.
2. In the Students field, type at least three letters of the student’s name.

3. Select the student’s name from the matching results.
4. (Optional) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more students.
5. Select Save.

Remove students within a Classroom

1. In the Classroom, select Class Tools > Modify Students.
2. Select the X icon next to the name of the student you want to remove.
3. Select Save.

Manage students from the My Classes Dashboard

Add students from the My Classes Dashboard

1. On the My Classes Dashboard, select the Class Settings icon on the class tile. The Class Settings dialog will appear.

2. In the Class Membership field, type at least three letters of the student’s name.
3. Select the student’s name from the matching results.
4. (Optional) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more students.
5. Select Save.

Remove students from the My Classes Dashboard

1. On the My Classes Dashboard, select the Class Settings icon for the relevant class tile. The Class Settings dialog will appear.
2. Select the X icon next to the student's name you want to remove from the class.
3. Select Save.
