Add students to a class

If you can't access this feature, contact your school's IT Support for permission.

You can add students within a class or from the My Classes Dashboard to reflect who is present on the day.

Important

  • You can have a maximum of 100 students per class or 50 in a Monitor Only Mode classroom.
  • Changes made to class membership (such as adding or removing students or teachers) in Local or Monitor Only Mode classes are saved. However, changes to synced classes will be undone the next time the class syncs. Contact your school's IT Support to make permanent membership changes to a synced class.

Add students within a Classroom

  1. In the Classroom, select Class Tools > Modify Students. The Modify Students dialog will appear.
  2. In the Students field, enter at least three letters of the student’s name.

  1. Select the student’s name from the matching results.
  2. (Optional) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more students.
  3. Select Save.

Add students from the My Classes Dashboard

  1. On the My Classes Dashboard, select the Class Settings icon on the relevant class tile. The Class Settings dialog will appear.

  1. In the Class Membership field, enter at least three letters of the student’s name.
  2. Select the student’s name from the matching results.
  3. (Optional) Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more students.
  4. Select Save.
