Send a one-way message to a student

You can send a private message to a specific student to help them stay on task or provide instructions. The message appears as:

• A banner on Chromebooks
• A pop-up window on Windows or Mac

The student must manually close the message.

To send a one-way message:

1. In your active class, find the Student Tile of the student you want to message.
2. On their Student Tile, select the Send Message icon (megaphone), the Send message window will appear.

3. Enter your message, then select Send.
