You can send a private message to a specific student to help them stay on task or provide instructions. The message appears as:
- A banner on Chromebooks
- A pop-up window on Windows or Mac
The student must manually close the message.
Before you begin
- You must have access to Message Student (one-way) in Classwize.
Send a one-way message
Tip
If you want students to message or respond to you, use Classwize Chat.
- In your active class, find the Student Tile of the student you want to message.
- On their Student Tile, select the Send Message icon (megaphone), the Send message window will appear.
