Manage your Classwize profile settings

You can manage your profile settings in Classwize from My Account settings. These settings apply to your account and stay the same across all your classes, browser sessions and devices.

From account settings, you can:

• Change your Chat display name.
• Set your preferred time format (12-hour or 24-hour)

Before you begin

• You must be signed in to Classwize.
• Chat Settings only show if you have access to Chat in Classwize.

Change your display name

By default, your Chat display name is the username or email address you use when signing in to Classwize. Students will see this name when you send them a chat message.

1. In Classwize, select the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Select My account settings.
3. In the Chat username field, enter your preferred display name.
• Minimum: 1 character
• Maximum: 80 characters
• Allowed: letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters
4. Select Save.

Set your time format preference

Classwize uses 12-hour time by default (for example, 3:00 PM). You can switch to 24-hour time (for example, 15:00) in your account settings.

1. In Classwize, select the avatar icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. Select My account settings.
3. Turn on the Use 24-hour time toggle.
4. Select Save.
