A rule for [resource] already exists error message

In Classwize, if you try to create a rule for a resource with an existing rule, you will see the error message, “A rule for [resource] already exists, would you like to edit it now?”.

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:

  1. Select Yes, Edit. This will open the original rule.
  2. Make changes to the existing rule to resolve any contradictions, then select Update.
